STEPHEN LLOYD
​​ Stephen founded Amplified Theatre in 2015,  
writing, composing and directing it's debut production Unsigned.
 
Directing credits inlcude: V.E (Theatre on the High Street/The Bunker), Street Magic, The State of Things, Made in LDN: Timeless (The Bunker),
Heart of Hearts (Mountview), Scaffolding. The Consultation (White Bear), Into The Wild, Enlightened, Too Long Girl (Lion & Unicorn), The Club, Her Will Be Done (Tristan Bates) and Unsigned (Black Box Festival and Tristan Bates).

For several years he worked as a professional actor with companies and at venues such as the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Hull Truck, Theatre Royal Stratford East, Graeae, Liverpool Everyman, Nottingham Playhouse, Dundee Rep, Derby Theatre,  The Bush, Theare 503, Hackney Empire, Oxford  Playhouse,  Watford Palace Theatre and the BBC.

He has also performed internationally in Germany, Mexico, Brazil and at the Theatre National de Nice in France.

Stephen originated the role of Vinnie in the Ian Dury inspired cult musical Reasons To Be Cheerful.

Stephen is an actor, director and filmmaker.

Stephen made his directing debut with Amplified Theatre's Six.
